As I love to tell things visually, here is an illustration I made for the quote. I hope it makes you understand better.

Yesterday, I had the chance to present upcycling and my re*creations to a large audience at pixmix, which is a good copy of pecha kucha. I had the feeling the audience liked my presentation a lot! It gave them a lot of valuable information and I hope inspiration.

Same as in my street survey (see previous blogpost) I first asked the question: “Who of you has ever heared of upcycling?” There were about 60 people in the room and none of them raised a hand! Turns out that they knew upcycled products but they didn’t know the term “upcycling”. They all know recycling but there is a difference between upcycling and recycling which I will explain in a future blogpost.
